Refunds & Cancellation

Read this first: why refunds here are narrow

When you buy a server from us, we immediately reserve that machine in the datacentre. We are charged from the moment it is built, and we keep being charged whether or not you keep it, and whether or not you ever paid us.

So a refund after provisioning is not us giving back money we are sitting on — the money has already gone out the door, and refunding it means paying twice for something you no longer have. That is the whole reason this policy is written the way it is. We would rather explain it once, here, than argue about it later.

Everything below follows from that one fact. Where we can be generous without paying twice, we are.

Cloud services

Servers, GPU instances, dedicated machines, shared hosting, storage and business email.

Before it is provisioned — full refund

If you have paid but the service has not been built yet, tell us and you get everything back. Nothing has been bought on your behalf, so there is nothing to lose. In practice this window is short, because we provision quickly.

Provisioned but never used — 48 hours, at our discretion

If a service was built but you have genuinely not used it — no data written, no traffic, nothing set up — tell us within 48 hours and we will normally refund it, minus what we have already been charged for the time it existed. This is a goodwill window, not a trial period. It exists for honest mistakes: the wrong plan, the wrong region, ordering twice.

Once it has been used — no refund

After you have used a service, the amount paid for the current period is not refundable. The machine existed, it was yours, and we were billed for it.

Cancelling — you keep what you paid for, and pay no more

You can cancel any monthly service at any time. It keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. You are not charged again.

If you have prepaid several months in advance and cancel partway through, we refund the whole unused months that remain. The month you are in is not refunded. Nothing on this site requires you to pay for months in advance — this only applies if you asked to.

Domain names

Domains are never refundable. Not partially, not within any window.

A domain registration is paid immediately and irreversibly to the registry the moment it is registered, and the name is then yours. There is no mechanism anywhere to undo it — not for us, not for the registrar, not for the registry itself. This is how domains work everywhere, not a policy we have chosen.

Check the spelling before you order. We cannot fix a typo in a registered domain; we can only sell you the correct one as a second purchase. If you are unsure, ask us to confirm the exact name back to you before we register it.

AI automation work

Automation is sold against a written scope with agreed milestones.

• Delivered milestones are not refundable. Once a milestone has been delivered and accepted, the work behind it has been done and cannot be un-done.
• Undelivered milestones are refundable in full. If you stop a project partway, anything paid for work not yet delivered comes back to you.
• Retainerscan be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. The current month is not refunded; nothing after it is charged.
• If a delivered milestone does not do what the written scope said it would, that is our problem to fix, not a refund question. We will fix it.

Wallet balance

Money you add to your VyomAnanta wallet is credit toward our services. It pays for what you buy and it pays for renewals, automatically, on the day they fall due.

Wallet balance is not withdrawable to a bank account, a card, or any other payment method. It is not a deposit and we are not holding it for you to take back — it exists solely as credit for buying and renewing services here. Please only load what you expect to spend with us.

• If you cancel a service before its paid period ends, the unused part comes back as wallet balance, and can be put toward anything else you run with us.
• If a renewal falls due and the balance is short, the service is paused, not deleted. Your data stays where it is for a reasonable grace period — talk to us before that window closes and we will sort it out.
• Refunds we approve are credited to your wallet, for the same reason everything else on this page is narrow: the money has already gone to the datacentre or the registry.

When we refund without being asked

These are ours to put right, and we do not wait to be chased:

• You were charged twice for the same thing.
• You were charged for something that was never provisioned.
• We could not deliver what you paid for at all — the plan was unavailable, the datacentre could not build it.
• We billed you after you had cancelled.

How to ask

Email nilanjan@vyomananta.com or message +91 86175 20837 with your order reference and what went wrong. A person reads it, usually within the hour during working hours.

• We will tell you yes or no within 3 working days.
• Approved refunds are credited to your VyomAnanta wallet, usually within 24 hours of approval, and appear on your wallet history straight away with the reason written on them.
• They are not reversed to your card or bank. See Wallet balance above — that is how refunds work here, and it is why we would rather you knew before buying.
• If we say no, we will tell you which part of this policy applies and why. If you think we have it wrong, say so — we would rather be corrected than lose you over ₹200.

Chargebacks

Please talk to us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the disputed amount and takes weeks to resolve, where an email usually takes a day. We have never refused a refund we thought was fair.
