What is the difference between self-serve and done for you?

Self-serve is the machine on its own. You get root, the IP and your choice of operating system, and everything after that is yours. Done for you is the same machine with our team deploying it, hardening it, moving your existing setup across and installing whatever you need running on top. Same hardware either way — you are choosing whether you want to be the one at the terminal.

What does "done for you" actually include?

We deploy the server, secure it properly (firewall, SSH keys instead of passwords, automatic security updates), migrate your sites or applications from wherever they are now, and install the stack you asked for — AI agents like Hermes or OpenClaw, a web server, a database, whatever the job needs. After that you have someone to call when something breaks, rather than a documentation page.

What operating systems can I choose?

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Debian 12, CentOS Stream 9, Rocky Linux 9 and AlmaLinux 9. You pick at deployment, and every plan on this page offers the same set. If you need something not on that list, ask — we can usually accommodate it on the done-for-you tier.

How do I access my server?

Full root SSH access, straight after deployment. You get the server IP, the root credentials and the option of SSH keys during setup, plus a web console from the dashboard for the times you have locked yourself out. On the done-for-you tier we hand it over already configured, with password login disabled.

How long does deployment take?

Minutes for self-serve — the machine is provisioned and booted while you are still reading the confirmation. Done-for-you takes longer because a person is doing the work; we normally have it finished the same day, and we tell you a time before you commit rather than after.

Where are the servers?

Three regions: Mumbai, Singapore and France. Mumbai is the default and it is the right default for almost every Indian business — every hop out of the country costs your users about a hundred milliseconds they can feel. Singapore and France exist for audiences that are actually there.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes. Moving up a size is straightforward and we can usually do it with a short reboot rather than a rebuild. Tell us before you outgrow the plan rather than after — resizing a server under load is a worse afternoon for everybody.

What is your backup policy?

Every plan includes manual snapshots you can take yourself before a risky change. Scheduled automatic backups are not part of the base price on any plan here, so if you need them, say so and we will set them up — on the done-for-you tier we configure them as part of the handover.

Why do some plans say "On request"?

Because we will not sell you something we cannot hand over today. Eighteen of the sixty-one sizes are out of stock upstream at the moment. They stay on the page with the availability marked honestly rather than quietly disappearing — ask, and we will either source that size or point you at the nearest one that is ready now.

Do I get a dedicated IPv4 address?

It depends on the plan, and each one states which it is under Specifications when you open it. Shared IPv4 is fine for most web workloads; you want a dedicated address if you are sending mail, need a clean IP reputation, or are terminating your own TLS on a bare address.

Are longer commitments cheaper?

Yes, where our supplier discounts them — five percent at six months and ten percent at twelve. Both rates are shown inside each plan, so you can see the actual monthly figure rather than a percentage you have to work out. There is no lock-in on the monthly rate.

Do the prices include GST?

Not applicable — we are not GST registered, so no GST is added to anything on this site. The price on the card is the price you pay. It also means we cannot issue a GST invoice, so if your business needs one for input credit, tell us before you order. Bandwidth figures are port speed rather than a monthly transfer allowance.

How do I pay?

Tell us the plan and the tier and we will send you a payment link. Online checkout is being wired up now; until it is live, a message on WhatsApp is genuinely the fastest route from choosing a plan to having it running.

Can you move me off my current host?

Yes, and it is included on the done-for-you tier rather than billed as a project. We copy everything across, run both in parallel while you check it, and only then move the DNS — out of hours, so your visitors do not sit through it.
