A name, and the price of keeping it.

16 endings from ₹349 a year — and every single one renews at exactly what it cost to register. No cheap first year, no jump at year two.

Start with the name.

Type it, pick an ending, and see what that ending costs — this year and every year after.

Type a name to see what that ending costs.

Ask us to check a name

We check availability by hand and reply — usually within the hour. This box prices the ending for you; it does not yet check whether the name is taken.

The renewal is the whole trick.

Most of the industry sells the first year at a loss and takes it back on the fifth. A ₹199 .com is a ₹1,600 .com twelve months later, and by then moving it is more effort than paying. That is not a promotion, it is the business model.

All 16 endings here renew at exactly what they cost to register — because that is what our registrar charges us, and we add the same flat fee to both. It is printed on every card below rather than in a footnote, which is the only honest place for the number that actually costs you money.

Sorted by what you are building.

Nobody wants “the fourth cheapest extension”. You know what the thing is — an Indian business, a piece of software, a shop — so the endings that suit each are next to each other.

For an Indian business

The clearest signal you can send about where you are and who you serve. Worth holding alongside a .com even when the .com is the one on the card.

The ones everybody knows

A visitor who half-remembers your name will type .com first, and if they do not find you there they will usually stop. Still the safest ending there is.

For software, AI and infrastructure

These read as technical on sight, which is either exactly what you want or exactly what you do not. Good for products and developer tools, less good for a shop.

For shops and brands

Short, memorable and unambiguous about what you do. A .shop tells a customer what they are about to find before the page has even loaded.

When the good name is taken

The cheapest way to hold a name that already exists elsewhere. Every one of these is a real, working domain — they are simply less fought over, so the name you actually wanted may still be free.

Three things we are not going to pretend about.

  1. The box above does not check availability. It prices the ending instantly and exactly; it cannot yet tell you whether the name is taken, because we have not connected a lookup. So it sends the question to a person who answers, usually within the hour. A search field that looks like it is checking and is not would be the most dishonest thing we could put on this page.
  2. We have not confirmed what is bundled. Privacy, DNS management, transfer handling and auto-renewal are almost certainly all included — every registrar we know of includes them — and we are still not printing them as promises until we have it in writing. Ask before you buy and we will confirm each one.
  3. Sixteen endings is not the whole internet. There is no .me, no .app, and no country codes beyond India on this list. If the ending you want is missing, say which — we would rather find out whether we can source it than talk you into something that happens to be in stock.

Questions people actually ask.

Why is the renewal price the same as the first year?

Because that is what our registrar charges us, and we add the same flat fee to both. Most of the industry sells the first year at a loss and makes it back on renewal five, which is why a ₹199 .com becomes ₹1,600 twelve months later. Every ending on this page renews at exactly what it cost to register. It is the single most useful thing we can tell you about domain pricing, so it is printed on every card rather than hidden in a footnote.

Do you check whether a name is available?

By hand, and quickly — but not automatically, and the box on this page says so. We have not wired an availability lookup yet, so rather than show you a search field that cannot actually answer, it prices the ending and sends your name to us. We check and reply, usually within the hour. When the lookup is connected the box will do it instantly and we will say so.

What about WHOIS privacy, DNS, transfers and auto-renewal?

Ask, and we will confirm each of them in writing before you pay. We are being deliberately careful here: the catalog we are given lists the ending, the price, the renewal price and the billing period, and nothing else. Every registrar we know of includes DNS management and most include privacy, and we still are not going to print that as a promise on our own page until it is confirmed rather than assumed.

Can I move a domain I already own to you?

Almost certainly, and it is the normal way these things work — you unlock it at your current registrar, get the authorisation code, and we do the rest. Transfers usually add a year to the registration rather than resetting it. Send us the name and we will tell you exactly what it will cost and how long it will take before you start.

Which ending should I actually pick?

If you are an Indian business selling to Indians, .in says so instantly and is a third the price of most alternatives. If you can get the .com of your name, take it — a visitor who half-remembers you will type .com first and give up if you are not there. If you are building software or anything AI-shaped, .ai and .io read as technical on sight, which is either exactly right or exactly wrong for you. And if the name you want is gone everywhere, the last group on this page is how people get a working domain anyway.

Do I need hosting as well?

Not to own the name — a domain and a website are separate purchases, and plenty of people register a name years before they build anything. To put a site on it you need somewhere to point it, and shared hosting starts at ₹99 a month. Buy both from us and we point one at the other for you.

How long can I register for?

The prices here are for one year, which is how the catalog is priced. Longer registrations are usually possible and often sensible for a name you intend to keep — it protects you from a price rise and from forgetting to renew. Ask and we will quote the term you want.

What happens if I forget to renew?

We will chase you before that happens rather than after. Domains do not vanish the moment they expire — there is a grace period, then a more expensive redemption window, then it goes back on sale — but the redemption fee is many times the renewal price and the name is genuinely at risk. Tell us to keep it renewed and we will.

Is the price the whole price?

We are not GST registered, so none is added — what is on the card is what we charge, for the registration and the same figure every year after.

What if the ending I want is not listed?

Ask. Sixteen endings is what our registrar currently gives us and it is not the whole internet — there is no .me, no .app, no country codes beyond India on this list. If you need one of those, tell us which and we will find out whether we can source it rather than talking you into something on the list.

Send us the name you want.

We will tell you whether it is free, what it costs to hold for as long as you want it, and which ending we would actually pick if it were ours. If you need somewhere to point it, hosting starts at ₹99 a month and we will connect the two for you.
